Although this Chase Southwest 50k points offer comes much earlier than I expected and Southwest point will be depreciated soon, this is still a great deal !

I wrote about this offer Here and Here. The deal is still the same. You will earn 50,000 points after you spend $2,000 in the first 3 months of opening your account. Government fees as low as $10 not included. Annual Fee will be applied to your first billing statement.

Here is the benefit of the card:

  • Get 6,000 points every year after your Cardmember Anniversary. Earn 2 points per $1 spent on Southwest Airlines® and AirTran Airways® purchases made directly with the airlines and on Rapid Rewards Hotel and Car Rental Partner purchases.
  • Earn 1 point per $1 spent on all other purchases.
  • Redeem points for gift cards, car rentals, cruises, hotel stays, and international flights to over 800 Destinations on 50+ global carriers.
  • No foreign transaction fees

For personal card, you can apply for:

Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards® Plus Card ($69 annual fee) or

Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards® Premier Card ($99 annual fee)

For business card, you can apply for:

Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Plus® Business Card  ($69 annual fee) or

Note that Chase adds an additional term for these cards as the following: Note: the bonus may be earned on one first-time personal and one first-time business Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Credit Card new account.
